There is a lot to blogging! It can seem overwhelming at times.  Below is my list of resources that I use daily for my food and wine blog.  The list will continue to evolve as I discover resources worth mentioning. In the meantime, these are a few of my favorites.

Food Blogger Pro: Video training and blogger community helping you to start your food blog.
This is my #1 blogging resource!  Whether you are just starting a blog or have been blogging for a while, Food Blogger Pro is an excellent blogging community headed up by Bjork and Lindsay Ostrom of Pinch of Yum. With your monthly subscription you have access to over 300 easy to follow video tutorials, my favorites include photography, photo editing, building traffic, and generating income.  There is also an active community forum that connects you to other bloggers and industry experts when you get stuck or simply have a question.  Plus so much more!

StudioPress Premium WordPress Themes: Foodie Pro Theme Always Ravenous uses the Foodie Pro Theme + Genesis framework.  For a non techie and non graphic artist like me, Foodie Pro Theme gives my blog the look I want with the ease of functionality.


I use Tailwind to  schedule pins to my Pinterest account.  Tailwind automatically optimizes my pinning schedule based on when my audience is most engaged.  It has a browser extension that makes scheduling pins fast and efficient and provides analytics and insights so I know what’s working and what’s not.

Just add potatoes, a simple green salad, AND of course, wine for that complete bistro meal.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I paired the chicken with wines from the Finger Lakes Fox Run Vineyards.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2019 White Pinot Noir⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A white wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, fermented in older oak barrels, underwent malolactic fermentation, and aged in barrels for 3-1/2 months. The result is a soft creamy-textured wine on the palate, balanced with acidity, and flavor notes of citrus, golden delicious apples, ginger, and toast.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2018 Silvan Riesling⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
100% Riesling, but unlike most Rieslings fermented in stainless steel, this wine spent time in small oak barrels, NO malolactic fermentation, and NO lees stirring. This Riesling has the classic refreshing acidity with notes of lime, grapefruit, wet slate, and jasmine, but with a soft texture on the palate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Both wines are a must-try from the Finger Lakes wine-growing region. My favorite with the chicken in creamy mustard sauce is the White Pinot Noir.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
