Slow roasted pear slices make an interesting addition to a cheese platter paired with Prosecco or other sparkling wine

Ingredients
2firm pears, any variety
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife, slice the pears lengthwise into very thin slices.
Put the pear slices on the parchment lined baking sheets, without overlapping. Bake for 1 hour. Flip the pears and continue to bake for another hour. Let cool.
