There is something alluring for me about wine. Maybe it is the connection to agriculture, history, cuisine, and culture that captures my imagination on so many levels. Enjoying a glass of wine reminds me to pause and embrace life.
I have my favorite wines, but am always on the look out to try something new. Maybe I am scouting a wine to pair with a great meal or just reading those helpful shelf talkers in the store or feeling frugal and comparing price and value. At any rate, the wine aisles are always calling me. So, raise a glass on Friday and discover with me, what I uncover in the wine aisles.
Cheers, It’s Friday!
Cheers It’s Friday
My wine find this week is Mohua, Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Marlborough New Zealand
Because it is Friday, and I am tired from the first week of school and other excitement….I made an easy appetizer of Artichoke Pesto from Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Sartori Reserve from Bellavitano (Wisconsin cheese from my summer travels)
