The documentary Julia: The Delicious Life of America’s First Food Icon has arrived in theaters across the U.S.A. (Showing at the Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema in Atlanta) I was honored to get an early sneak peak preview.

The film traces Julia’s life from her childhood in Pasadena, CA to the Far East during World War II, where she meets her future husband, Paul Child. One of the few women attending Paris’ famed Le Cordon Bleu cooking school leads to her best-selling cookbook and public television show The French Chef.

Julia found her life’s purpose in food and cooking at the age of 50! Her first cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, “jump-started a food revolution in America.” She started the love of cookbooks.
